I loved working for the ENO. I was pretty much given free rein to come up with some ‘cool shit’ – a dream brief! Each campaign included press, outdoor, DM and online. My work made some noise, provoking comments from within the operatic community and journalists alike.
(Above) The blood in this image is actually paint. I found the paint splatter seperately, then a designer comp’ed this to an existing image – creating a macabre visual that perfectly encapsulates the bloody theme of this famous play.

(Below) To appeal to new audiences and make the play more approachable, I reframed the Magic Flute as an episode of EastEnders…
